What a joy it is to ask our 2 1/2 year old what the meaning of Easter is and to hear him say “Jesus died, but he rose AGAIN!”  Here are just a few pictures from home Easter Egg coloring, and church Easter Eggventure.

(Sidenote:  I know it has been a long time.  Lets just say I’ve been on a blog sabbatical…)

Easter Egg Hunting at Church was inside this year due to crazy rainy weather. The boy was much happier to pick up the Easter grass than the eggs. We didn't come home with but 2 pieces of candy.

Cheesing it up for the camera after coloring some eggs. We tried a new "camouflage" technique which included adding vegetable oil to the colors. Let's just say it didn't work well...

As promised I am posting a few of our pictures from Easter Egg Coloring last week.  The boy truly liked coloring his hands more than the eggs, and a few times (as you can see from one of the pictures), liked tasting the egg coloring mixture.  It’s a good thing these things are non-toxic!  Between eating bubbles and easter egg color I can’t figure out my kid’s taste buds!

Our good friends had invited us over, and they were so smart as they had done this with small ones before.  The newspapers thick on top of the table was a brilliant idea!
